Terms of use

1. Acceptance

By using Moppsy’s website, web app, or mobile app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. About Moppsy

Moppsy is a marketplace where customers book independent cleaners on a live map based on location, availability, equipment, price, ratings, and profile. TipTap LTD provides the platform and is not the employer of cleaners.

3. Accounts

You must be 18+, provide accurate data, and protect your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts may be suspended for abuse or fraud.

4. Available now (cleaners)

Available now means the cleaner has turned availability on, is on the map, and has no job in progress in the current booking window. Cleaners should turn availability off when they cannot accept more jobs. The map is not a guarantee of immediate arrival — booking follows the confirmed time.

Overnight map quiet hours: between 00:00 and 06:00 (local time in the market where Moppsy operates), cleaners are not shown on the public live map, even if availability remains on. This window is intended so same-day work can finish and the next day can start cleanly from 06:00. Live location sharing for an already confirmed booking is unaffected. Moppsy may adjust these hours.

5. Bookings and payment

Prices are shown before booking. Stripe handles payments. Moppsy may charge a platform fee. A booking is normally created when payment or authorisation succeeds.

6. Card authorisation

At booking, an amount may be reserved on your card for, among other things:

• cleaning cost and platform fees,
• delays or agreed extras,
• damage or disputes under the agreement.

The reserved amount is not necessarily charged immediately. Final charge follows the agreement and Stripe’s procedures.

7. Customer responsibilities

Accurate address, access, scope, timing, and household risks (pets, allergies, off-limits areas). Treat cleaners respectfully and do not bypass Moppsy’s payment system.

8. Cleaner responsibilities

Keep profile, location, availability, equipment, and pricing current. Perform jobs professionally. Follow law and tax rules. No off-platform payments. KYC and Stripe Connect may be required for payouts.

9. Profile photo on the live map

Cleaners with an average rating of at least 4.5 unlock showing their uploaded or Google-linked profile photo on the map pin. Below that threshold (or without such a photo), the Moppsy logo is shown.

10. Cancellations and incidents

Cancellation rules and fees are shown in the service. Report damage, theft, no-shows, or other incidents without undue delay, preferably within 48 hours, with documentation. File a police report where appropriate. Moppsy may pause accounts during investigation.

11. Prohibited use

• False information or identity
• Manipulation of location, ratings, or availability
• Fraud or illegal activity
• Attempts to harm platform operations

12. Payouts

Cleaner payouts via Stripe Connect after completed jobs. Payouts may be held during open disputes.

13. Liability

Service provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Where permitted by law, TipTap LTD’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant booking. Cleaners are independent contractors.

14. Location sharing

Optional location sharing during an active booking may be used for coordination. It is voluntary and can be turned off. Location is not used for marketing beyond what the Privacy Policy describes.

15. Account deletion

Request deletion via Delete data or info@moppsy.se. Some records may be retained by law for up to seven years.

16. Changes
